This is Gusaling Intramuros. But I think it’s the Gusaling Aquino now, named after former President Cory. This is the newest building in PLM. The Archi people are here. It’s Winter Wonderland inside.

The Gusaling Katipunan is home to the colleges of Nursing, Law and Medicine. In here is the university library as well.

Gusaling Ramon Bagatsing (or GB) is the oldest-looking building in PLM. This is PT (as in Physical Therapy) territory. They have working vendo machines inside.

Gusaling Atienza (Don Pepe Atienza) is home of the Graduate School. And the Mass Comm and Tourism students. Students who have classes here are enviable because of the air-conditioning privileges.
Another building of memories.

This is Gusaling Lacson, named after the first Mayor of Manila, Aresnio H. Lacson.
It’s the highest building in PLM with six floors. It houses the most number of colleges, including the College of Mass Communication (because I’m biased like this). It’s also the only building with an elevator. (That isn’t working right now. So just imagine how hellish it feels for students whose classes are in the fifth and sixth floors).
Science, Radio-TV, and Speech Labs are in this building.
Oh yeah, students also call this Camp Falcon. Yes, Camp Falcon of the Voltes V fame. See:

(Now Playing: I miss everything about you.) Too many memories.

Because I’m feeling reminiscent, tonight I’ll feature the city university (my alma matter) — Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
PLM is first in several things. It is the first university funded solely by a municipal government. It is also the first to have a Filipino name. (When I was in freshman year, 2006, there were rumors that the Manila government wanted to adapt the English name — the University of the City of Manila. Back then, I thought it’d be cool and more sosyal. But now I think, PLM has made a name for itself as one of the best schools in the country. Changing names would somehow make a difference, take away a part of that name.)
This here is the Gusaling Antonio Villegas. AV is a former Mayor of Manila, one of the founding fathers of the University. This building is College of Engineering territory. (That means boys, boys, and more boys. Boys that are geniuses in Math.) Most administrative offices and the school newspaper office is in GV.
Also in this photo is the flame torch, which we refer to as the “sibuyas” (onion).
It’s been forever
